Napster: Wholesale are still not accepting any requests for 17a bandplan. How long is this going to go on for?


What's their reason? 17a givs 100mbps/50mbps right?

BTW no longer wholesale, its Chorus now :)

No reason given, oh lol Chorus then :). Yea 17a can go upto 100/50 but its still limited by Chorus to 70/10.

I would like to know as well why they are still declining the requests. By now everything should have been setup and DLM managing the change from 8b to 17a.

TBH I'd prefer high upstream e.g. 50/50. Why do they limit the upload?

Just because you get good speeds with 8b doesn't mean you'll get an improvement with 17a. It's entirely possible that you may actually get worse performance.

The TX power of the wider bandwidth profiles (12, 17 and 30) are all lower than that of 8a/b/c. You can't have greater bandwidth and high TX power.
