I just received an email from purehosting dot co dot nz offering a free trial for all 24/7 hosting companies, and thought I should post a warning about it. Not only does their site look very amateur for a "family run New Zealand company with back ground experience in support, customer service, IT, web-hosting and site-building.", but they cc'ed 7,000 email addresses in the cc field instead of bcc. LOL!

Hopefully this thread gets picked up by Google, and anyone who searches for it after reading the email won't get scammed in.

*shakes head*

About us = zero info. No phone numbers, no street addresses wouldn't go near them.

Yea iknow, the sites just like this for now and pricing. The package prices will stay the same however looking into the GST making it inclusive.
For the time being we are just asking people to give us a go and see if they like the service which is completely free for 30 days. Once that 30 days is up and they want to move hey thats algood just grateful that they decided to try us out and they arnt going to be bound by any contract not a scam. We started this up because of the sh!t a certain hosting provider has done to their customers want people to have faith in hosting providers again.
But i guess like i said not off to a good start, just hope people can look past that. End of the day im just a husband and father trying to save you money and stress

Perhaps you should answer this question as right now the only options for how you got them is you broke the dnc's privacy policy or you are 24/7 hosting.

Just to confirm. The IP of the website: 119.224.64.218 belongs to: static.slingshot.co.nz
That would make me believe this is a residential service? Call plus run business plans but the IP range would be labelled as CallPlus.
Strange.
