I was very excited when I read the title.

And now I'm just disappointed I have to wait until tomorrow.

Should have "actual news" tomorrow morning.  I assume it will be before the market opens at 10.00am.  Doesn't anyone know?  Haven't been able to find out on the ComCom website.

Where did you hear the 1st from? It was always scheduled for the 2nd and the ComCom website still says 2nd December.

I got it from this link here:

http://www.comcom.govt.nz/the-commission/media-centre/media-releases/detail/2014/commerce-commission-extends-copper-pricing-consultation which includes the sentence:

"The Commission is now aiming for a draft decision on both prices by 1 December 2014, and a final decision by 1 April 2015."

I interpreted "by 1 December" as tomorrow but the ComCom may have meant that as 2 December.

Apologies everyone.

Edit: Here's a more recent link - looks like it was pushed out an extra day:

yes, silly me! I've been fixated on 1 December for the last 6 months.  What's one more day I guess.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I'm just waiting for the response from people if the Commerce Commission come out with UBA pricing that is above what it actually as. As crazy as it sounds it is actually a possible real world scenario.

Trust me, I've thought about that in great detail.  It's actually one of my fantasies sometimes as I drift off to sleep (sounds crazy but I'm serious).  I think about the calls for immediate Government intervention that would ensue and the unashamed barefaced hypocrisy of it all. It would be delightful.
