Hi everyone.

Like all of you, I am working from home, so I depend on the VDSL line that we have.

A few days ago it took a dive.

Speeds now are only 15456Kbps down and 992Kbps up (15/1).

My provider is Contact. I have sent them an email but they have not responded as yet.

Router = Netcomm NF18ACV

Do any of you have advice?

Perhaps a contact somewhere that could test the line maybe?

Linetest.nz shows 31ms ping response and Jitter at times.

Gratefull for any advice or help.

Keep well,

Darren

May sound stupid, but I can't remember "exactly".

Was around the 50 mark.. i would say around 54/10' ish.

The drop is significant as it was experienced straight away.

Submitting a response here takes a while.

has your sync on your modem dropped with the speediest speed? or is the sync still 50ish ?

I have attached the screenshot.

Don't keep powering the modem off and on as this will cause line speed to sync at a lower rate due to DLM

Thanks..

I try not to do anything. just leave it running normally. Just after the firmware upgrade.

Speeds are really low.
Is there anything that I can do /try to get it back to what it was?

Here are 4 screenshots of the statistics.

Thanks.
