Hi everyone and thank you for reading this post,

I´m trying to open a file but for some reason it has extention .nrg and cant find a way to open it,

if you know please let me know,

What is it?
A little more info may help us.

Otherwise, google file extention nrg. It may be related to nero or norton.

As far as I'm aware .nrg files are Nero CD/DVD images. You need Nero Burning ROM to open them, which you can find a free trial of @ nero.com :)

.... But you can't 'open' them like you can most CD images, you can only burn them to a disc. At least that's what it was like a year ago

have you done this with nero-- do i have to burn file or can i extract it with nero_

i have full version of PowerISO and yes i can convert it to iso and even mount the image in virtual drive but then when i want to execute does not work:...and after converting to iso i tried to unpacked or extract and both PowerISO and WinRAR do it but only produce one file with nrg extention grrr

So you have an NRG file - mount it with DaemonTools - it should appear as another DVD drive with your ISO/NRG mounted - open it.....
