Then he said "I do have the HDD mount for extra drives but it blocks too much airflow. Also the 1TB WD 7200rpm will go on the bottom of the case. The SSD is mounted behind the Motherboard. The hard drives are all maybe 4 months old. The 7950 is gigabyte WF3 1000mhz stock. "

I'd stick to $700 and get him down and stay firm. If he doesn't get other offers then he'l take your offer, don't rush it man, plenty of PCs out there. Build your own AMD system for cheaper than that.

meh. if you can put a computer together yourself I would do that over that deal. no graphics card, so have to factor that in and also no windows (might not be an issue).

EDIT: also theres no SSD drive, about the best improvement you can make to a computer.

Going to go for a similar build to yourself and go with brand new then i have warranty etc.
This is what i am looking at, just need to decide on a case. Is this really important? Airflow etc?

750W is probably more than you need (theres online PSU calculators, cant remember the url, but google will find it).

harts is right about saving on GPU by buying from amazon/ebay, so look into that (personally i couldnt be bothered waiting that long :)) if you do go offshore, remember GST (around $400 over 2 weeks - ie splitting orders can still get you stung with gst).

personally i always found a case is a case is a case. ive never had any issues with any of mine, if you want to do serious overclocking and water cooling etc then sure, you will need the right case, but if you're not planning on serious overclocking, go with one that looks nice and is in your budget.

Hey man, good looking machine. Only thing i'd change is the 7850 and go for the r9 270x - Rebranded 7870 and has direct x 11.2 and a few other extras like eyefinity without the need for active adaptors.

With regards to airflow, yes, very important in a smaller case for the ITX Mobo. Less air to move around for the components. Have a look at the 250D from Corsair or wait for Corsairs new releases. Cooler Master Elite 130 could be a goer aswel.

If you want less noise coming from a small case and more room go with a water cooling solution for your CPU for the same price. Cooler Master have one that will do the job for $80-100 and Intel $100 from PBtech.

elite 130 is a nice case, they fixed some airflow issues with the 120 that some people had (not many). you need to read the manual about the order you put things in (with most small cases) but its pretty easy to work with.

a modular PSU is a must for this case. well ive got a temp non modular PSU in one of mine, and err its tight :).

with ITX you can only run one GFX and you probably wont run more than 2 HDDs so yeah 750w is overkill. 500w should be fine.

add up the price on pricespy, then do the same overseas. you must factor in shipping, currency conversion, GST.

you will save overseas on SSD and GFX, but probably not enough at the low/mid end to bother with, but worth investigating.

personally ive only ever bought pc parts locally due to the savings not really be worth it.

Or get a 200+ GB SSD and install all games on PRimary with OS so they load as fast as possible. Use the 2T for storage or Movies, Pics, Music etc

If you want to overclock, go for the 4670K and get the most out of the CPU. If you don't want to then go for the 4590. Simple :)

If you want to overclock, go for the 4670K and get the most out of the CPU. If you don't want to then go for the 4590. Simple :)

this is pretty much what the "K" means :) and im guessing you dont want to overclock. the 4590 is fast, with overclocking u can get 4GHz + but that would probably require some serious cooling upgrades etc.
