I estimate that it will take 3 days (8 x 8TB WD Reds, RAID 10)

 

 

WRONG!  It took me 7 days to completely reformat and rebuild the array.  undecided

 

Big arrays do have some disadvantages.

 

All data is present and correct after the rebuild.  wink
