I use it on Windows, iPhone and have plugins for most browsers...

1Password integrate with Windows Hello as well - So have to enter my password only on the first launch since system restart
I am very happy with it

davidcole:

Bitwarden and most other (lastpass etc) don't support non browser use like keepass does.

(RDP Sessions, desktop apps etc can be configured with keepass to auto type user/password etc).

Hmm, that's pretty much a deal breaker for me - I use the keepass autotype feature all the time.

Exporting and Importing databases. Be VERY careful when doing this and double check everything. Although they all allow this, every app has a different database structure and you will invariably lose something. E.g. Bitwarden allows multiple URLs for each entry, others do not. Some apps (e.g. Nordpass) will not import entries from a csv file if they do not include a URL (I have loads.) Etc.

I currently use Bitwarden, but have been trying others. What I don't like about Bitwarden:

  1. Non-integration of biometrics with a browser (Edge). Although it is feasible, you must have the desktop app installed, and then tick boxes within the app and the browser extension. Even when done it still will not work on my bog standard systems. I've given up.
  2. Insecure default values: No timeout; clipboard not cleared; when optional window opened from browser extension it does not obey timeout values. These have been discussed forever on their forum and nothing has changed.
  3. No syncing of settings values. Each app and brower and on every PC has to have the settings individually set. Really?
  4. Integration on Android was a bit hit and miss. This may have improved, but tend not to use the phone much for logins.

Nokia 6110, 6210, 6234, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, Huawei Ideos X5 (Windows Mobile), Samsung Galaxy SIII, LG G4, OnePlus 5, iPhone Xs Max (briefly), S21 Ultra. And I thought I hadn't had many phones - but the first one around 1997.
