There is also the Contractual Mistakes Act 1977 where they don't have to honour it if the mistake is genuine. You often seen correction advertisements in store, correcting the error. SOme stores are forever displaying these. But often the good stores will honour errors, as it doesn't look good for them when they don't.
That may be true however once payment has been accepted then they can no longer contest the contract. Prior to that they might still be held accountable - if not for the sale then you can try misleading advertising.
I am quite happy with my newly acquired monitor and have no regrets.
On another note: This are the common mistakes that one gets when one outsources to countries with cheaper labour.
Unfortunately in the longer term this outsourcing will lead to a depression. Or as I normally say: "The situation is the same as in the 1930. They have moved manufacturing away from the consumer base and expect consumers, who are now out of a job, to have the same purchasing power". We all know whom we have to thank for this.
