It is 1 x female to 4 x male.





Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

I actually had a look at one of those yesterday but I don't think it would work - it would need to be female SATA on one end and male SATA on the other to connect to the optical drive...unless there's a connector on the motherboard I could use for it? (I had a quick look but couldn't see one).

also you cant get power from the motherboard for SATA drives or Optical drives, it needs to come from the PSU from either a sata connector or a molex to sata conversion cable

Yep. I’ve had to use one of these (if not this, then something really similar) in the past, actually it might be in my z4.
