Very easy to call someone by accident, especially when wearing tight pants. Phone can drain very quickly without you know ing it. Even in leather case the dual slide can click open with movement and the keyguard unlocks and b4 you know it you are calling NZ.
Is there a keyguard safety?

I'm glad to see that it survived the bull riding mechanism as I was wondering how tough it was.

Can't beat the burble of that American V8. Ohh yea!

I think I had seen a screenshot of a guy on a german forum a little while ago with a 4gb sdhc card in and showing freespace. Cant seem to find it again now however, could have been a photoshop too.

Re not being able to update firmware, my phone is a recent PI purchase and shows "Nokia N95 (RM-159)" when trying to update with firmware showing as "10.0.018"
Could anyone who has sucessfully updated to the new firmware confirm they have same model? Thanks.

Must say I am pleasantly surprised with the performance of the GPS unit. I was expecting it to be rather weak after some of the comments in various forums but I attained signal lock in a few minutes on initial setup and maintained lock while driving with the phone sitting on the passenger seat which beats the pants off my XXXX brand GPS. Just a shame about the NZ map, especially after downloading the New York one!

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the upgrade people are talking about - the n93i one. When doing this upgrade does it mean that you add a N93i upgrade to the phone or not? How does it work? Any help greatly appreciated.

Just select the e50 to download from the Nokia website, once you have the program, it will flash any phone. it's just generic!

ok... here is how it works.... it's the exact same application for ALL handsets, You select any old phone and get the same tool

You choose any random phone off the website and just download and install the program, Connect your n95 and it will then download the needed n95 files and flash your phone! if you connect a 6234, it will then download the files and flash that

The one installed on my pc (which is the exact same one you will be installing no matter what phone you have) flashed a 6234, a 6233, an e50, an n73 and an n95. all perfectly.

I've heard others talk about this problem, you'll have to shop around until you get a handset without the sound. Whats the problem with Language options? Should be possible to get it sorted, maybe by changing the product code via Nokia Software updater to one from the region whose language options you want?

My one still have a bit of "fizzy sound" but not as bad as some of the shops i tried. Yeah was looking for the Chinese firmware, but couldn't find it....anyone know where to grab it?

Teo at Symbian-Freak fixed his sound defect by 'tapping' the phone near the top where the call speaker is (thing with the metal grill). Could be worth trying?

Mine is from PI too. Just change your product code to Euro1 and then update the phone with NSU.

I believe you can do this from within the software updater, you just need to know the appropriate code. They are easily found at places like Howard Forums, you should be able to get a walkthrough there too.

Hey can someone please tell me if the FM radio is in the handset or headphones? Do you need to have the headphones pluged in for the radio to work?
