Nokia has released some updates, seems that things are getting a little more stable.

What do you mean? Have you installed those? Post new version numbers please and where this phone came from for reference.

My Lumia update - Since Opening my new 920 I have only Charged it twice!
I haven't used it heavily (I'm a bit scared to be honest) However I haven't experienced any of the crazy drain that I did with my last 2 handsets, Overnight it drains about 5-10% which is way more acceptable than the 99% over 6 or so hours.
Im not sure if DSE just got a bad batch as I have installed all the same apps. In the next few days Ill start using it more heavily (as I learn to trust it lol) and see how I go! SO far, So good!

An update to my reset - got everything sorted last night, didn't add any apps, just home wifi, and added email, twitter and facebook accounts. Put phone on the wireless charger and went to bed. Woke up this morning to a phone requiring a soft reset... again.

Will try with the 'old' USB charger over the next few days and see how that goes. Otherwise will turn off wifi/data overnight (don't want to go full airplane mode) and see if that makes a difference.

I use: http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Pool-of-Knowledge/Nokia-Windows-Phone-8-App-Updates/m-p/1640082

Maybe they're old updates but Display+Touch along with two others; basically you can use the above to force the checking of new updates.

Oh, I thought you had received the updates. We know about those, discussed in previous pages.

In the internet explorer, does anyone knows if you can 'Forward' after 'Back'?

For the first issue, look on ... > Recent for the last page.

For closing IE, which is totally unnecessary in WP anyway, you can go.to ... > tabs, close the tab and back out. To speed that up, go to IE settings and change the refresh button to tabs. That lets you close out of IE in as few taps as possible.

Per Robax, that's exactly what I do.  Then it's easy to close tabs...

Just hit Start button to exit out of browser... sure you are not 'properly' closing the app but it doesn't seem to have any negative effect. Ironically if you then go back into explorer it picks up where you left off however if you hit the back key it closes the app

I guess this is one step backwards for winpho.

They should add this 'forward' function. This has been there since the beginning of browser in the 90s.
