You can't blame Acquire for Ingram Micro placing a 10 per reseller limit. They did the best with the information they had. That said I do hope that we get to see it selling cheap elsewhere in the near future. There must be more units in the country right?

I haven't heard anyone on here say they have got one leading me to believe they falsely advertised the stock on their website.? If they had 10 it should have said 10.? They probably just sold them to their staff and used this as a cheap marketing tool

Would you be "pissy" if they just didn't have stock count on their website? Maybe they did have 90 and you happened to be order 91. still be "pissy"?

I hoped the 20 odd people at Sylvia Park Noel Leeming store put up a fight with me in the morning. Only couple of us there in the queue (first 2 in line) gave the employees and manager there grief. The second guy went to the Manakau branch hoping he might be able to get one of two tablets still in stock there. I rang the area manager and left a voice mail. Store manager rang me and said he is trying to find 1/4 tablets that I had booked for my work mates and me a day earlier at 2PM which the salesman said he has put aside for me but ofcourse when the price dropped they took my reserved stock and bought it for themselves. Store manager made one of the employees go back to their house and return the still sealed tablet to me. Got a nice free HP touchpad bag and 50% off the touchstone charger for all my trouble and waiting in queue early morning. If others whinged with me, all the tablets prob would have been forced to return by all employees.

Giving away mine to my mother who only uses it browse facebook, news and youtube. I am sure she will enjoy the odd angry birds now as well :)

Edit - I got denied by acquire as well.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Well I wanted this for my kids. They deserved this tablet and I feel really bad that I couldn't provide one. I will have to keep any eye out on trademe. Shame they couldn't get more stock as there are now alot of people on here who have entered into a true state of depression. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, 'nah forget it. Yo holmes to Bel-Air!

Missed out as well. I guess the lesson is, what we should have done is signed up for a reseller account at ingram micro and ordered 10 :-)

Between ingram and Exceed there were 1100 of them in the country this morning, ive just checked them again and they all have none
