to clear something up for some people.. there is a difference between OS version and Software Release...

the OS version for yours is the one showing 10.0.10.261
the Software Release is probably a lower number like 10.0.10.32

on the device I had off trade-me
Software Release is 10.0.9.348
OS Version is 10.0.9.2372

So, Z10STL100-2/10.0.10.690 is newer, plug your BlackBerry to link and update

Currently mine says "No information available" for Software Release.

Weird. A complete reload using link is in order then. Backup things first

Is there a big difference in terms of new features between the versions? I don't use it as my primary device so not sure if I can be bothered going through all that.

Just cosmetics, noticeable reboot speed, and hopefully battery life.

Vodafone NZ firmware being seeded out OTA, to parallel imported handsets...

Still no word from Vodafone officially yet.

I'm coming to Auckland this Tuesday 4th June for meetings with BlackBerry and the official launch in New Zealand.

I struggle to turn my BlackBerry Z10 on after it has run out of battery - obviously after leaving it plugged in via USB for awhile. Wonder if it is just faulty or just has issues with letting the battery drain completely.

It happens anytime I let the battery run out - even if I leave it plugged in charging for a whole day it still doesn't want to boot up by pushing/holding the power button. I think it may just not be charging.

Edit:
Think it may be the cable provided with it, just tried another one and it is charging now.

I really like the look of the Q10. I have to wonder why it's been so delayed tho.

I was given a Z10 today during the New Zealand launch... I have noticed it gets quite warm, anyone noticed this?

I had a play with the Z10 in JB Hifi the other day. It's a very nice device, very solid.

The BB10 OS was a little unintuitive, but once you work out how to use it, it's a very nice device!
