Bah.

BH Photovideo changed their prices then instantly sold out. Then emailed me later saying 'no sorry we couldn't hold one for you they are all gone now!'

GOD DAMN IT

Perhaps this shows all those tablet devices (not only TouchPad) are terribly expensive?

I think the tablet prices currently are 'right', I think all this shows is that HP is completely mismanaged.  The parts cost of these devices are 3-400USD from memory.

Managed to snag 2x 32GB, but only because I gave up waiting for pages to load and used 1-Click. Recommended.

I managed to grab one last night at Best Buy and sent to my sister in houston.  I'll just ask her to send it over here.  You've got to be quick to get one as they just sold out instantly.  it was a stroke of luck when i was checking twitter, and someone posted the link to BB.  it was just a pain filling up forms as they want a US billing address.

magu, How much did you pay for shipping at amazon?

$26.19 for the TouchPads and $17.98 for a Touchstone dock, shipped to Idaho address.

We'll find out. :)

But for $99 it's pretty much a no-brainer. Especially considering that devs are working on porting Android to it.

This thing will get the support it needs, the people who are buying these devices are those who are LOUD on forums and can spread information fast.  Everyone will get together and demand all the support needed, and it will be given.

Not yet. There may be some GST. Not sure yet.
