I see the Mobile GMaps developers have removed Google Maps support at Googles request :-( See here. I guess the older versions will still work though? Maybe only in offline mode?

Assuming you have the N95 version of MGMaps, have you followed the installation instructions that are available at the MGMaps forum? They are easy to follow, main points are to install from the jad file and make sure the mapcache file is hidden.
What specific problem(s) are you having?

peejayw do you have a map working for Hamilton? (I read in your previous thread that you had sucessfuly got maps for the main cities working and said if other cities were required you might have them too.) I love my N95 had a 6680 so the basic layout etc is the same. Had some teething problems but only map issues left (Touch wood)

Hey Peejayw, I wondered whether you had made more maps for Smartcom?

Incidentally, how are you finding Smartcom? Are you using it as your main GPS program, or is MGMaps your primary GPS software? I'm thinking about getting it.

I am using Smartcom, MGMaps is getting there but still has memory issues.
I now have a North Island and South Island touring map and street level maps for Auckland and Christchurch. Just adding to them as the need and time arises Undecided

How involved is it to make the maps? What are you generating them from?

About 5 different apps including Photoshop but I am sure it will get easier.
What area were you interested in?
