Can anyone in New Zealand confirm they have received the 8.1 update please?

If so did you have to do anything to trigger the update?

Yep. Got updated before Xmas I think. A 2Degrees Ativ with a Spark sim. Don't think I did anything in particular to trigger it, just checked for updated until one day it said there were.

It says OS version 8.10.14157.200, whatever that is.

I'm on an Ativ S from Spark, but changed my CSC to 2 Degrees to get the update (got it straight away after doing that).
The phone is so much nicer to use with 8.1 (I'm on version 8.10.14157.200 too).
The only things I had to change after the CSC change was the voicemail number and I got it to pick up the APN settings from the SIM.

lol I changed my CSC to NEE to get 8.1.1 or windows 8.1 update and changed it back to Spark.

Some nice features especially the ability to group your screen 'icons' on the homepage.

Word from Paul Thurrot, is that the next update for 'us' will apparently be 8.1.2 which is due out before windows 10 rolls out Summer USA but likely to be Christmas for Oceania.

Will be interesting to see if Samsung Ativ S gets all of windows phone 10  or a compromise given that the Ativ S cpu specs are getting long in the tooth.

No issue with RAM however, windows 10 is useable on phones with 512meg RAM.
