He means they are hinting that they will all be sold internally to staff.. big surprise there.

RexHavoc: Just heard from Ingram. Apparently there are no units left to go around to any of the resellers so we have missed out as has everyone else. So much for our allocation of 10

Yeah. When I ring back again to check the current status, I'll try to appeal to his sense of decency (stop laughing; it may work). I do have a couple of other purchases I need to make, so I may be able to use that to sweeten the deal and get them to reserve one for a loyal customer.

You might be better of calling the head office, or at least using that as a threat. I'm fairly certain that they would not be happy with staff putting themselves above customers.

Where's the proof though? He didn't say that was going to happen, but that was certainly the inference I got from the conversation.

If I were JB, id actually offer it to the staff first. I see this as the right thing to do for a company to do for its employees.
Now if there was some awesome deal advertised on the front page of there mailer that the staff all bought up, then I'd be pissed.

Gutted I missed out. I really wanted to get one for my dog, as he really deserves it. He has worked really hard this year. I don't know maybe if I go round all the shops and websites and let them know it was for my dog maybe someone will feel sorry for me.
