That is really good pricing for all 3 handsets. I wonder how much will the HTC 8X sell for here?

Do whatever you want to do man.

We will be running the TelecomTech blog again with Telecom on Windows Phone 8 later this month.

Keen to be one of the reviewers.

PhantomNZ: That says 3 models by Christmas. You said I was wrong about not having them available in NZ in November. Are Telecom actually going to be releasing these in November like you hinted at?

Depends how technical you want to get (November / before Xmas)...

Telecom current dates:

Nokia Lumia 920 - 22nd November - $999
Samsung ATIV S - 30th November - $799

HTC 8S - 7th December - $499

That's better than I expected. Nice one.

Having had Android devices for the past few years I'd like to spend some time on a Windows Phone 8 device before handing over the cash. Pretty keen on making the move from what I've read so far though.

The HTC looks like it'll be the price point that ends up as our official company phone (assuming VF get it too...). So the signs point to my HTC Trophy being replaced by another HTC.

I'd be interested in being part of the blog that's if you're still looking for participants.  As well as getting the chance to play with Windows Phone 8 it'd be interesting to compare the old and new Nokia's, assuming of course it's a Nokia that's being trialed.

Yeah - more than likely I will upgrade my 800 to a new one.

Dunno if it will be an 820 or 920, given only Telecom is getting the 920 it will prob be an 820. Any info on if there are specific bands supported or if they will work on both?

If you saw it on CNN then it will be more for the US.

The telco's and nokia are p'ing me off with this, Nokia AU etc have updated their webpages but NZ still showing the lumia800 etc.

Just wish they would get info up so we can start looking at them for pricing etc.

1/ Very nice looking handset
2/ Resizable icons
3/ Similar to WinPhone 7
4/ Good soundz (for me at least)

Still getting apps and such sorted for it but very nice little handset (compaired to Samsung Note).

Only issue I've noticed is that it doesn't seem to updated the song/video list, i.e. still shows those that have been removed ...
