Behodar: I bought one from B&N (as a backup in case the Amazon/OnSale one fell through) and it's been cancelled. Check your order status.

Edit: Amazon's site still says "shipping soon" but the order has now been charged to my card, which wasn't the case a couple of hours ago.

Update this this: I have the same "unable to process" message, which I took to be a cancellation. I do NOT have a cancellation email at this stage.

The official word from B&N, via Slickdeals:
The HP Touch Pad sale over the weekend triggered an unprecedented response. We are currently reviewing inventory and orders to determine the number of requested orders that can be fulfilled for this item. Cancellation notices are going out automatically to customers whose orders were placed after the inventory was depleted. Please note that it's our policy not to charge a customer's credit card unless the product is shipped. Therefore, even if you have received an authorization notification, your card won't be charged until the product is shipped. We sincerely regret any inconvenience.

And regarding OnSale/Amazon:
Rep says that if you bought Saturday, you should be good. If you bought Sunday, your odds are at 50/50. No luck for Monday. Also, better chance of getting a 32GB than 16GB. He said they don't know how much they sold because Amazon didn't put a limit on the quantity but OnSale had a limit on their website of 1 Per Customer. Expect Email within today or tomorrow.

I got two from OnSale/Amazon. Both 32GB. Hopefully they'll be able to fulfill the order, although I only bought yesterday morning.

Yeah, fingers crossed. I also should've pointed out that since that message was lifted from Slickdeals, the dates are American. So, 50/50 for yesterday apparently.

I'm doing the same. Their online store had the TouchPad on their website, but it was removed overnight.

Just left Noel leeming wellington. Staff member came out and said to the 10 or so people waiting that they had none. Sold the last last night. Apparently 2 at lyall bay and 1 at porirua. Best chance looks to be online.
