Anyone know when we can expect Telecom and or Nokia/Microsoft to roll this out in NZ?

That's just the windows phone 8.1 developer preview, not the Lumia Cyan firmware upgrade, hence the question :)

Developer edition came out in April should be the full blown 8.1 now, it's how I got all the updates early minus carrier add-on when I had my 920.
The app studio is for developers to test their apps on newer versions before the majority get the updates.

Actual carrier updates will be a few weeks to few months away to allow for testing and adding bloat ware.

The Cyan Lumia firmware is not the same as the Windows 8.1 OS software.... 8.1 OS is rolling out to in-market NZ devices second week of august - I would expect that Cyan would come around the same time, but I haven't been given any dates (so don't quote me :)).  All my own 8.1 testing has been done without the cyan updates.

Yeah i would hope that the carriers will release Cyan with 8.1 OS update :)

We're starting to see the update roll out now in select markets. New Zealand handsets will see the update rolled out to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices from around mid August.

Both the 8.1 and Cyan update will be rolled out together.

My phone (925) updated to Cyan on Sun. Parallel imported, ex Hong Kong IIRC.  So far has not made much difference for me day-day.  Still trying to decide if it is wise to have WiFi Sense turned on?

My 1520 just updated to Cyan. Seems to be a UK model.

My Wife and my Nokia 625's, both NZ purchased, updated last night.

Love the new amount of tiles on my start screen :-)

Shame Microsoft stuffed up the Developer Preview this time and it seems whoever has installed it might have to manually revert to be able to install the Cyan update.

....doh :(   Linkage to more details?

(Can't say it comes as a huge surprise though; I had this possibility at the back of my mind when signing up for the dev preview.)
