I need help with a PIE problem on my JasJar.

I can connect to Vodafone OK, and other software I have which connects to a remote server works fine, but when I try and connect to a webpage....nothing.

I get messages saying "connecting", "locating" and "opening", with the Windows "flag" waving in the bottom RH corner of the screen. After that all I get is a blank screen with the correct address in the address bar.

Can anyone provide some advice before I have to try a hard reset ??

Thanks

Hmmm. On your Pocket PC open File Explorer, browse to \Windows and tap on welcome.exe. Follow the instructions... Then Start | Settings | System | Memory, find the running programs and stop PIE. Try again.

If it is still not coming with anything, let us know which APN are you using for connection. Perhaps change it? It's working for me on web.vodafone.net.nz.

The APN should be www.vodafone.net.nz

freitasm: Thanks, had tried the "Welcome" trick - no joy.  Tried "web.vodafone.net.nz" - same results as the default APN

johnr: That is the default I had been using.

Thanks guys.  Any more ideas?  Seems strange that the connection appears to be fine (as I can connect to the remote server I use) but PIE not displaying page data.
