Also had issues with the EB games pre-order; first a "connection error", then the repeated issues with the suburb same as others. It's still in my cart, but I can't check out. What a clusterf***...

I see they have reset the countdown on the pre-order page for 11am though, maybe they are releasing them in waves? Or more likely, because the first one failed so catastrophically, they had to have a do-over haha

I noticed the same with TWH & PBTech. They were sold out, but were available later again.
TWH is sold out again, PBTech is still available.

Spark seem to want the $1248 upfront and no options to finance it. Perhaps because I have no active connection with them. Ah well its only a small saving doing it that way, Will just have to eat rice for the next 2 months to save the cash up.

Don't bother laying upfront, the whole benefit of all access is its monthly payments. If you buy Xbox live gold and convert it to gamepass and then buy the console it's much cheaper.

EBGames has a second countdown timer link for Series X with Launch Shipment in the title so those who missed out can try again in next hour. It could be that it is not launch shipment and it is for second shipment but they have not updated the title.

I spoke with my local EBGames store that I selected for 'click n collect' for pre-order and they advised to wait 3 to 4 days before turning up with the old One X console to complete the trade in at earliest. They said you can also wait until launch day and complete trade in as trade value will not drop which is good. They did also confirm that if you have a EB World card you will get the extra trade in discount value as well on top :)

Do whatever you want to do man.

Full payment and not available for instore pickup

Well I would have prefered Noel Leeming for fly buys but happy that I got one; my kids get the Xbox One X and I get a shiny new Series X; can then update them to a Series S in a few years time once the Series games become the norm.

FYI for everyone who preordered from The Warehouse

Just spoke to chat and they said they will have stock on hand on the 9th but you can't click and collect for 2-4 days after that. Like what the heck?

Any other places still have launch stock I can preorder and actually collect on the day?
