Wolfenstein Youngblood. Included with Game Pass (thanks Microsoft for buying Bethesda)!

It can be annoying at times, but 3 years since the original release most bugs and AI issues have been resolved, making it a pretty cool mindless nazi killing romp.

Beat Saber has just been released as a free PS5/PSVR2 upgrade and a new Queen music pack also released. I know what I'll be doing tonight after a couple of beers.

Please ensure you record that and post is so I have something to watch after work and a few beers 😄

Is there a NZ equivalent to the 24hrs in A&E show? If there was then I wouldn't need to record it, you'll see me in the waiting room with a bloody towel wrapped around my head waiting to be see to.

I am playing Diablo III again, in anticipation for Diablo IV release soon. Doing well with a Demon Hunter. I think my Barbarian has reached its potential after all these years.

Hmm wondering if I might do the same actually. Too many games too little time. I should sell my business and take some time off LOL :)

Picked up a neat game with friends recently, Omega Strikers. It’s a 3v3 team air hockey/football game with heroes that have different skills to use against the ball or the enemy team to knock them out for a while.

Since it’s free with crossplay on Steam/xbox/Playstation/switch/mobile and easy to pickup it’s quite fun as a casual game with mates. Gets harder as you rank up in competitive but quick play matches only take about 5-10min.

Next week is likely going to be diablo4 for most of my friends. Still debating dropping $120 for it, was considering trying for a cheaper nvidia key (have a 40xx) but I don’t think I’m allowed to ask for one here.

I have a few on rotation at the moment.  Started Star Trek Resurgence on Friday and it's great, if a little janky.  It's by ex Telltale devs and is what you'd expect from them, but set in Star Trek.  Takes one of the cool TNG episodes and expands the lore around it for the game, with familiar characters etc.  It's diplomacy heavy which you'd expect too, with a bit of phaser action thrown in.

Also started Callisto Protocol on PS5.  I had it on PC when it launched and it was an unplayable disaster.  I think PS5 and Xbox weren't much different.  A few months later and it seems to be running well and looks spectacular even in Performance mode.  No RTX in that mode but doesn't seem to take away from the image.  Much better than at launch anyway.

Finished Jedi Survivor a few weeks ago, another janky buggy mess on launch and it wasn't much better by the time I finished the campaign.  I'm also replying Plague Tale Requiem as it's on console Game Pass.  That game is beautiful and performs super well even from launch.  Which is unusual in this modern era of new release games.  Highly recommend.

Bought this on special on friday - have sunk 10 hours in already. https://store.steampowered.com/app/979110/Space_Haven/

Its still in alpha but pretty good for the state it is in. A nice little colony management game, a mixture of rim world, FTL and oxygen not included.

Pre-ordered the Deluxe version of Diablo for, for officially the most I've ever paid for a computer game, the outrageous sum of $150, so I can play it four days early when I am on a few days holiday over the long weekend.

Outraged.

While I did take part in the beta and server stress tests, which went well, I have a feeling blizzard is going to drop the ball again when it comes to (early) launch day. A lot of friends and old timers who I haven’t seen for ages are coming out of the woodwork to play this.

And the price tag isn’t helping so I’m going to skip it for a while until it gets its first discount or if the group boss mechanics are any good.

I got early access for Forza 5 and it was a disaster. They gave me the difference back between standard and deluxe after some back and forwards.

Have they started distributing it yet? Because everyone downloading on launch day is going to be painful. It's a much-anticipated game...

Also, I posted this somewhere else but been playing my Diablo III Demon Hunter and Barbarian again so I decided to stream on Twitch. Clocked a few hours this week.

It's distributing starting today/tomorrow I believe. I have early access from the 2nd. After you mentioned D3, I downloaded and started a new character and have been enjoying myself a lot. It's a hell of a lot of clicking though!

Maybe my memory isn't that great, but it certainly feels like quite a different game from when I played it at release years ago. It's held it's age very well.

Blizzard have some of the best content delivery mechanisms in the industry, I believe getting the thing downloaded won't be as big of a problem as the load on their servers come 6th of June.

I played a lot with the Barbarian, but it was tiring - all the clicking, as you said. I then decided to expand the Demon Hunter, and with some good skills, it's a lot less clicking and more strategy. If you watch one of the streams you will see that even in Torment the character does little close quarters and doesn't jump into the fray - lots of arming traps, using skills and companions. The few times it's in the middle of a mob, a couple of knife skills can get it clear in not time.
