Hey freitasm what the best way to run a poll on here or is it against the rules etc?

Anyone know what's happening at EB Games Wellington for the PS4 launch?

Apparently they're opening at 9pm and giving out tickets to people who pre-ordered. But they've already given me a fast pass ticket to jump the queue because I've already paid in full.

I don't understand.

Personally I think it's best to wait until just before Xmas by then both consoles will have been out for a few weeks locally and you'll find there'll be plenty of people who have given there reviews. Personally I lean towards Xbox but from what I've read the PS4 is more for the true gamers and the Xbox is more for those who want the whole experience as in all the extra stuff like Kinect, voice commands & tv integration (the later two not available here on launch typically) but ultimately go for what suits you best & the types of games and experience you're looking for.

jtbthatsme: the extra stuff like Kinect, voice commands & tv integration ...

I just 'lied' to mine and claimed I was in the US. (its really not very hard) and I now have voice commands. Most of them are pretty magic.. but the bloody "xbox on" one only seems to work about 25% of the time for me.

Well that's answered one of the questions I wondered about since you can trick the 360 with a change of regions I was hoping that you could get these things working by doing the same. Is there any other things this opened up for you or prevented you from doing by having the US as your region???

I tried to setup a poll on my geekzone blog but the three different software things I tried wouldn't work with the geekzone software.

I could easily set one up on another site easy peasey. But we all know that clicking form one site to another is not very successful unless you are giving a way free beer!.

I was able to download US apps from the store (eg Netflix) and setup the IR in the TV app to power on/off my TV and mute it. I've since moved the region to the UK as it seems to work better with my accent.

I will choose Xbox One if you only have budget for one console.
If you can buy both, I would choose Xbox One first, then PS4.
