Aussie servers are up. Started up a toon & I'm getting 62 ping! The character transfers haven't started yet and we can only pick one character to transfer over from what ive read. Three of us have high lvl characters & I lost the bet... Oh well good excuse to start a commando.

Got that same email for the transfer, i guess they are giving time for the new players to level up. There is also a recruit a friend going, you can send an email to someone for 14 days free game time, link on the launcher.
New patch coming soon that looks pretty good. New warzone, flashpoint & operation. The legacy tree opens up & looks good, would like some more info so will have to do some digging!
And also UI customization. Finally can move things around to a much better position!
Anyone playing on the oceanic realms notice a big difference in pvp combat? I find the lag on the us ones to be a bit much in pvp to allow a good game every time..
I'm really struggling with TOR at present. The class stories I've done so far (48 Smuggler and 18 Inquisitor) have been awesome, but the landscape quests you have to go through between times get very dull very quickly. Infact the whole leveling process is just rinse and repeat after the second planet, there's just not enough class story in there to make it bearable let alone enjoyable for me. I couldn't face rolling another republic toon and doing that all again...
I stopped playing because I found myself only logging in for operations. The game doesn't have enough stuff to hold someone at end-game (I don't enjoy leveling multiple characters)
As of this past weekend 2 people in my Kin (US based) have cancelled their subs, another 5 are not renewing after whatever multi-month sub they got... For them (and me) there's just not enough of anything to support longer term playing at this stage.
