stasiox: Hey guys, I pre ordered my PS4 from dicksmith on the 29th of september and i was wondering if any of you know if i will get it tomorrow or in the second shipment? the emails and phone calls proved no help and i'm left helplessly wondering if ill get it tomorrow or not!

Just turn up and try claim one ;)

Pop down to the store you pre ordered from today if you can and ask about it.

reven: just got my "Your order has shipped" email from mighty ape :) should be on my desk tomorrow morning waiting for me, just hope its not DOA :)

Interestingly I don't have an email yet, but my tracking number's listed and shown as with courier :)

I got my 'your order has shipped' email from mighty ape 30 min after my xbox one was delivered. Those deliver so fast they mess with time :)

I get the feeling that the dick smith store are not really a true pre-order, you are basically putting a deposit on something and collecting on a first-come, first-served basis. (which kinda makes the whole idea of a 'pre-order' pointless.)

I haven't seen anything about bundles or anything else either, or whether the stores will be opening at midnight.
Quite annoying really.

Well I am pleased to say THW have just confirmed my courier details, I am 100% getting it tomorrow :)

The warehouse has shipped my PS4 which is a relief as I took tomorrow off work and was sure it wasn't going to arrive until Monday knowing my luck.

Whats "THW"? The Warehouse? How did they confirm the courier details, ring you or...?

I selected "notify me" on the courier post track and trace page and they sent me an email just before.

If the warehouse has let me know it's been shipped I don't know yet because I can only check that email at home.

Mine has been shipped by mightyape too.

reven: anyone game to try the psn digital codes from amazon? USD$60 for a game compared to what NZD$108.

I bought a USD$6 code for flower to test out, if that works i might try the blackflag or injustice code.... price difference is pretty massive, even factoring gst and exchange rate.

It should work as long as you have a US PSN.

Well I hope they're handling it better than their Australian cousins are.

Hope all you new PS4 owners enjoy your new toys. Sadly I won't be getting one for a wee while, but I am lucky enough to be heading off to the launch party tonight. Maybe I'll get lucky and win one there :-)

just phoned the warehouse, they have my unit put aside and waiting for me to collect tomorrow.

They'll offer me some special deals when I come in store too.

One thing -- I can get a ps4 controller shipped from amazon for $89nzd all up.
