Lipex666: Me to

It's available to preorder now on Steam for $99. Might wait till there is a next steam weekend sale. But knowing me I will preorder my PC version from Steam.

Let's hope it has more content than the Wolfenstein New Blood which didn't take to long to complete mind you was only about $35 to purchase.

Fallout 4 has had mass hysteria from people wanting this. The trailer looks really good and has some continuances from the fallout 3. Some sites say they have been working on this since 2012

Mighty Ape pre-order $89.00 :)

I think I want a physical copy as the download speeds at home are crap and I don't think they would appreciate me bringing my PC in to work to download it!

gehenna: I'm not a fan of bleak games, I like a bit of colour.  I always felt like while Fallout 3 was a beautiful game at the time, it was just a bit too bleak for me.  Sure, post apocalyptic world etc, but in comparison to something like The Last of Us it just didn't do it for me.

I'm hoping this one has a bit more colour to it.  I know it's a dumb thing, but yeah, everyone has their quirks I guess.

Interesting comments, I love the 70's pale blue used in the trailer, so retro! I do think the colour scheme does help you do bad things in the game and is used to good effect to show how dark the times are.

Why are you pre-ordering?

Could end up being total garbage - there is guaranteed to be no shortage with digital distribution.

Never pre-ordering again after the rubbish that was the last Hitman game.

reven: I actually have never completed a Bethesda game... Their story telling usually is all other the place, and too often you can run off during a conversation and get distracted (maybe this was just Skyrim).   Skyrim was a great game, but lost focus way to easily in that game... Finished every Dragon Age and Mass Effect though :P

I did find that about missing key elements of the story when distracted by the dog or the Mrs.

I have no issues preordering games if the price is right, often there are preorder sales.  I picked up Batman Arkham Knight for USD$35ish from nuuvem.  Thats a great preorder price IMO.  Sure I could wait maybe 1.5-2 years and get it for $5 like the other Batman Arkham games, but I don't want to wait that long

I want the pip boy, but want to know if its a round shiney thing in a box or a steam code. The former I am not equipped to deal with anymore since moving the PC to a new case, so I am hoping that its a code.

I am guessing that since you physically get a "toy" then it won't be a steam code, also the Pip-Boy edition WAS an EB Games exclusive, it looks like they are only offering the xbox one version now so I guess the rest sold out.

Still quite excited about this.

I don't think the system requirements are out yet, but do you guys think a 4Gb GTX 960 would run this ok at 1080p?  Rest of my PC is still pretty grunty (I7 4771, 16Gb RAM, SSD etc).

even if it is a disc, it will still require steam, and so come with a Steam code in the box and you can activate and download the game if you prefer rather than installing from the disc.

given FO4 is also being built to run on a PS4 and XBone,  your specs should be totally fine
