There is a possible 24 hour wait for your password reset email to come through though.

Yay. Going now. Password changed asked for when logging in. Worked from ps3, didn't have to go to web site.

Has anyone been able to get RemotePlay to work over the internet since PSN came back online?

Haven't tried. I'll give it a go tonight. I'm using a PSP if that matters?

Those free games available for download yet?
Anyone know how big they are, like is this going to bust open small data caps etc?

Haven't heard any more info on when they will be available to download.

I do, however, remember that the original download size of WipeoutHD (not WipeoutHD + Fury) was in the vicinity of 1.2GB.
There have been a few updates (maybe 2 or 3) since original release, and coupled with the Fury expansion pack, you might expect it to be somewhere closer to 1.4GB.

Just a guess there, but I'd say it would be close.

I wonder how they are going to play (pun) this Welcome Back package. I'm sure once everyone gets word that the free games are available to download, their servers are just going to explode.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Store's not open yet.

As for size, depends what your cap is obviously.

Games I have downloaded:

WipEout HD (without Fury) PS3, about 1GB, can't look it up
LittleBigPlanet PSP, 1338MB
Pursuit Force (Extreme Justice, but it's indicative) PSP, 1539MB

I'd say sizes are pretty reasonable.  You only have 30 days to download them though.  If you're on a very restrictive cap you might need to hope that 30 days overlaps two billing cycles.

May or may not, if it still connects then at least that would confirm that client side changes are not needed (unless you PSP recieved an update around the same time as PS3). Note: need to test using a separate internet connection, if you connect locally PSN sign-on is not performed.

I don't think the PSP has had an update.  I didn't get to it last night, but I'll test it over the weekend.

I won't be using a separate internet connection, both the PSP and PS3 will be connected through the same router.  However, I will be choosing the Connect via Internet option (rather than Connect via Private Network), even though they are on the same network it still connects "out and back" I think.  If not, then I probably can't help you.  I suppose I could use the McDonald's wifi, but I probably won't.

The last I heard was that the network had been hacked again... very few details at this stage but there are claims up to 1 million passwords are compromised.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?
