NokiaRocks: Didn't get an invite :( got it on preorder though.

How did you pre-order?
Ive tried to and all I get is 'game currently not available for pre-order in your region'

EDIT: Never mind. seems I spelt it wrong. 'starwars' and 'star wars' are not the same thing : )

There going to be a geekzone guild?

I like that idea, but we would all have to be on the same faction!

Available TBC 2012

Hmmm.......2012.

I mean. I know 2012 is only 10days after the america release date....

But still....it could be march or something....Surly not tho.

As for the geekzone guild. Would need to start a topic regarding it and sort faction etc before release. Then as soon as we know a server name (which we might be able to get before release too) then we can all jump in and play.

It was estimated that it would be march before the Red Zone received it. I intend to just get it sent from Amazon with that expedited 3 day international shipping thing!

I pre-ordered with 3 day international shipping last night so I am happy.

As for the beta, that's cool but the 27GB download will really hurt those of us on capped plans!

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I pre-ordered as soon as I got the email but I figured the expedited shipping was a bit of a waste. Since you received and registered your pre-order code at the time of purchase, you just need to download the game when it's finally available, log in and go nuts. Your physical stuff can arrive whenever.

And yeah, 27gb is pretty big. I'd have loved to join the upcoming beta, but I suspect it would mean downloading the game twice before launch. With only 31 days until early access opens, I can just wait.

I got mine from amazon.com 3 days ago and I received a valid code about 5 mins after preordering.

Note Amazon will charge you for the order the day it ships and will charge the lowest price it was offered at between pre-order and shipping.

Thanks for the amazon tip.
I prefer to buy from them

Estimated delivery: Jan. 3, 2012 - Jan. 13, 2012

Shame we just changed ISP's had unlimited internet while off peak. 30gig will be a chunck out of the new plan!
Worth it.

So back to the other question. What did people think of the geekzone guild? we going to join that one thats listed on the main page?

Only if it arrives within the "grace period" after launch, after which you need to enter your full cd-key to continue playing. If Amazon are willing to email you the cd-key when your order is shipped, you'll be fine. If you need to enter it from a physical slip of paper in the game box, you could be without access to the game between the end of the grace period and when your order ships. And considering the grace period was rumoured to be something like ten days (I haven't heard anything from EA on this, but I've been distracted by Skyrim and might have missed any news on the subject), but non-expedited shipping down here is something like 3 weeks, that could be a week or two spent listening to everyone else having fun.
