It's the original Souls game so it'll have huge interest. I platinumed the PS3 version and frankly I have no desire to retread the ground especially if the requirements are same (RNG of drops and having to world shift back and forth to get things to spawn).
So, I don't know if anyone knows for sure, but is the USB-C on the controller for the PS5, completely bog standard, or is it USB-C connector that has a proprietary pin diagram to make it only compatible with it's own chargers etc?
Standard USB-C
Ooh, and 30 minutes of play for every 5 minutes of charging apparently.
sonic1989: @psychosmiley mate you're a legend, i couldn't handle it 😩lol
From a time when I had much more time and disposable income on hand. My PS3 game collection is 65 odd, whereas I only have 10(ish) PS4 games. I just don't have the time to do the trophy hunting I once did. I still do it but it's more for a completion point of view to extend the value of the game personally.

I’m not sure that the game itself is quite my cup of tea - but the graphics are certainly impressive. I watched the clip on an iPad which has a decent res screen - and it looked fantastic.
concur that not my kind of game (too hack and slash); but my god the rendering and lighting is fantastic
interesting impression about the DS5. thought to share it with you guys

Coloured faceplates
If you don’t mind relinquishing the white originals, it would be a simple matter to change the colour with a $10 can of spray paint from Bunnings. A lot cheaper than about NZ$70 for these third-party jobs where there is, as yet, no guarantee that they will fit properly.
Not quite as simple, but you could get some coloured wrap from a car wrapping place and change the panels’ colour that way - and that would be able to be taken off so that the originals aren’t wrecked.
Whoa mate - not so fast! PlateStation5 shut down by Sony:
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
So I spoke to Noel Leeming re: my pre-order today.
They reckoned that they were not due to start receiving units from the distributor until the 11th/12th and that my pre-order with delivery would likely not be shipped to me until 13th or 14th.
If correct, it seems a bit slack compared to EB et al!

I'd be surprised if any of the PS5's make delivery close to time.
Noel Leeming has had a heap of issues over last 6 months with online/retail sales with product warehouse management, fulfilling orders and delivery.
I know a few people that have bought items only to find out its not in stock and only to face drawn out resupply and eventually cancelled orders and had trouble getting refunds.
Speculation, but wouldn't be surprised if NL oversold their allocation just to get sale.

I saw that. Seems really weird. How can they shut down a company for providing third party customization for a hardware device if it doesn't materially impact it's operability?!
