I've been playing Mafia 2 Definitive Edition. It's pretty cool so far, I'm not all that far into it though. It's funny how you can instantly tell you're playing an older game with fresh graphics. Gameplay mechanics have come a long way in the last 10 years.
Just got Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, this is the year of remasters and remakes. Still gotta get my hands on Black Mesa while Command & Conquer remaster is also due to drop in a couple days!
Black Mesa was excellent.

Still playing Escape From Tarkov as my main game.. game just wiped recently so full steam back into it right now.
Isn't it great how much fun the game is again after a wipe. Was getting a bit bored pre-wipe, but now there is so much to do again.
Oh my god, I just got the new Worldwide Games 51 for Nintendo Switch yesterday. So much fun especially with my partner, this is what everyone should have on their Switch the set of games on this is such a hit that theres no need for carying around board games when its all on one cartridge or 2gb download.
Started jamming at 7pm, we normally go to bed by 9.30pm but we lost track of time and was up until 1am playing. Curling, Darts, 6-ball and Mancarla are our favourites so far, What a gem this is!

I had a bit of fun trying to see if I could blow all my money.. I couldn't but it was fun lol. Won't be able to go crazy like that again though sadly, with the new flea market changes being able to earn hundreds of millions of roubles isn't really doable.

Persona 5 Royal. The social sim aspects and the story-telling are great. Love the way the game doesn't shy away from mature and controversial themes whilst doing it from the standpoint of young adults. The game/combat mechanics are way too complicated - the latter especially. The number of guides out on the net on how to maximise stats, confidant relationships, and how to do X, Y and Z shows this. But it's still a fun ride for the story. But after playing this and FFVII and seeing how poor the level design on both are, you really realise how far behind Japanese RPGs are in this respect.
Luckily P5R is quite amenable to chunked play -- because this thing apparently takes 150+ hours to finish.
Not now, but in a weeks time - I know what game I'll be playing.

I'd say it depends on your viewpoint because to many those sort of aspects are what make JRPGs superior to other types. I'd view it more as these sort of min/max sort of playstyles are there for people who enjoy that, but there's no requirement to play it in that way or use all the mechanics and have a really good time. When I played the original Persona 5 I tried not to look at any of those sorts of things just so I could enjoy myself without having to worry about whether I am playing the game the most efficient and 'best' way
iRacing... Cheaper than real racing and got back into it (after 10 years away) over lockdown and decided I really enjoyed it again so got a new wheel, setup triple screens, upgraded PC and am building my own set of pedals.

The pedals are from an online set of lasercut patterns but require building your own electronics solution and I have machined some of the parts myself to make them nicer (CNC cut pedal pads and bushes etc)

Oooo, very nice. :-)
Given the amount of Dirt Rally 2 I've been playing, including several online championships, I upgraded the somewhat flexible wheel stand to a Next Level Racing one. Still using it from the couch with the Logitech G29 but a much more sturdy setup. I haven't got the space or budget to go to the full rigs with the likes of Fanatec gear but it's still a good experience and has worked well for keeping the racing bug going.
First real life event is July 18th though. Must remember that there's no reset button in the real car.

LOL ditto... If my clutch is fixed by Sunday then there's a sealed AutoX down here... Similarly I need to remember there's consequences in real life!

Nice job. I like how the pedal arms are drilled, I presume to save weight and go faster :-)
