networkn:Item:I feel dirty siding with the big Corp, but I guess Sony had no control/say/view on whether it was done well or not - hence the shotgun approach.
If they had been poorly designed and made and poorly supported or the company did a bunk without fulfilling orders, then it could be damaging to the Sony and PS brand as well.
Surely, that is true of every accessory made, regardless of whether it's licensed or not? There are some truly awful headphones which are Playstation licensed, that truly reduce the experience you get with a playstation, being sold by the hundred, in retail stores all over the world. :)
Doesn't really matter, they did it, it's over, I just feel it's a bit of a tough approach to take, even though I do sort of understand the logic behind it.

Anyone had any further communication from their retailer of choice since preordering? I'm waiting on some kind of instruction from Noel Leeming.
Me too - but I’m not really expecting to hear from them prior to the day - are you? Even then I’m a bit doubtful about them. Basically I’ll believe it when I see it.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

SpartanVXL: All the best to those who get it early. I’ll be onboard once the pro model comes out (as approximated from AMD’s RDNA2 GPU reveal).
This gen will be good will be a good one.
I still very much doubt this gen will have pro models the way the last gen did.
we only got PS4 pro and Xbox One X because 4K TV adoption took off much faster than expected and the base model consoles were nowhere near powerful enough to handle 4K.
my suspicion would be that this gen will just be a bit shorter than the last gen and rather than pro models we will just get the next generation a couple of years earlier than expected.

yes - even though we have paid 100% up front. I did not have a good experience with Noel Leeming with my Xbox one release preorder a few years ago ( they didn’t have it)

I've had no contact from Mighty Ape on my launch day pre-order. Just logged in to check the order status and it just says expected to ship 11-Nov.

JB Hifi has confirmed that I am getting mine on release and they've been incessantly reminding the average Kiwi with poor financial management that they will be billing your CC around November 2 to 6 and to follow FAQs/go to a link in the event one's credit card has expired or didn't have enough credit in order to pay for console, so you don't lose it.
On some levels good on them; on another level if people need to go to this much level for a $820 console, they really aren't in a position to buy one or shouldn't have one.

I can't seem to find a definitive view on this, but, what are the chances that Marvel Ironman PS4 VR will work on the PS5 at launch? Or Air Combat 7 VR?
To use either of the existing PS VR systems (1 or 2) with the PS4 camera you will need to order the free adapter to enable use on the PS5.

I ordered mine and it seemed pretty straight forward (need the SN on the back of the VR Black Box thingy)

I have a card with a limit that I can pay off in a month easily, so sometimes it is very close or past that depending on statement date so its a very good warning to give people and not something about poor financial management to warn them.

As per my previous post, I phoned them yesterday and was told that they are not expecting to receive their stock from the distributor until the 12th, in which case my order would be shipped out to me on the 13th or 14th and that most likely date of receipt would be the 16th or 17th...
If you have a PSVR then don't forget to get your free adapter from Sony here:
http://playstation.com/camera-adaptor
You'll need your PSVR Serial number located at the back of the unit.

I've got click and collect at Tory St so hopefully that makes a difference.
