On another note would anybody here be interested in starting a GZ crew once this goes online? Of course we'll be divided between consoles but it would be good to see if we could make a sizeable crew on each and give GZ some GTA rep.

networkn: I am surprised at all the effusive good feedback it's getting, it's just not "fun" enough really, perhaps it's just too slow. There are some good moments, and yes the detail is astonishing, etc, car handling is very good, but it seems like it's not really got enough happening at any moment....

I hope that gets better as time goes on.

Geez Louise, I get this game isn't for everyone (no game is) but to say it hasn't got enough happening at any moment... that just baffles me. I don't think I've ever been so spoilt for choice in any other game I've played. What more could you ask for?

Don't park your modified vehicles in the garages. Not sure how they expect you to save your cars but that's what they're saying.

Is the stock market based on real life at all or completely simulated?

The LCN stock market is in-game and effected by your actions (destroy a company and competitor shares go up), the BAWSAQ market is (I believe) global and is currently doing essentially nothing until GTA5-Online launches and is based on international trading. That said, I've been basically breaking even, not getting very far :(

Given that most of the cars in the game are pretty fast, there's not a lot of point spending money making them go faster IMO. I suspect property is where the money is to be made.

Keen to join a crew although I'm really not sure how it works. PSN\RSO tag = KnightNZ

The BAWSAQ market works much the same I think. I gave a stranger a ride to the airport not long ago and he said to invest in Tinker. Chucked all my money into and not long after it shot up 20%.

Mate of mine bought a PS4 a few days ago to play this. It died this morning and he lost 35 hours of gameplay. No cloud saves apparently.

Ouch.

It does have cloud save, but only if you have the PSN+ subscription. That wee feature saved me a lot of time when my launch PS3 died.

Quite a decent bug with saving cars it seems. Just have to keep stealing them.

I Threw all my money on all characters at the opposing cigarette company just before I knocked off the jury members for Lester.
I made a 78% profit. If you hold out for a bit and keep an eye it will level off and then drop slightly.
The amount you make seems to vary but smallest I've made is a 50%.
The only thing is you have to exit out the mission to invest with the other characters.

I must have screwed that up.. I only made ~ 20%. All my characters are broke at the moment anyway.. Franklin and Trevor brought property, Michael brought a boat.
