Hey does anyone know what "tickets" are? I think ppl keep referring them to as respwan tickets, but I'm not sure what they are or how they work... Any ideas?

The tickets relate to how many spawns one team is able to have, one ticket = 1 spawn.

Cool thanks for that.

So how can you tell how many tickets you have or how many tickets the enemy has? So far I have always been able to respawn so there must be a large number of tickets?

Also, I've heard about increasing your own ticket number and decreasing enemies'. Decreasing them is obvious I guess, which is to kill an enemy soldier. I heard about reviving team mates to increase your tickets. Is this true? Any other ways to increase or decrease the number of tickets?

Thanks again.

The more points you hold in conquest adds to the amount of tickets your team has. In rush mode the defenders have unlimited tickets where as the offenders have a limited amount.  There are icons showing how much tickets you have, however its not a number, its a sliding bar (hard to explain :)

All i can say is RAGE!!!
I got the game off steam when i came out and i tried to use My BF2,BF2142 log in so i could a veteran.

(Sorry your user game doesn't exist)

So i have had to use a new email address to register for this one and wont be able to get the special unlocks for being a Veteran. Thank you EA, i guess me buying every battlefield game for PC ever made wasnt enough for you to keep my EA account alive.

Also when i got in to the game i played for about 5 mins and then the EA servers went down.

Yesturday 6 of us got together to have a bit of a lan thinking that hey we can just waste each other, nope you have to connect to a internet server to play no hosting lan ones, and to our disgust we all couldn't join one server at the same time! So we had to sit there all playing on 6 different servers, not a team sport.

Personally i think i have been sold a broken game, sure they will relese a patch and fix it but this is not what i paid $100 dollars for.

RAGE!!
sorry

@jamesvini, create an account at the below link and talk to EA live on chat and explain the veteran problem. That's how people are getting there m1 grand and other weapon unlocks sorted.

Nety: Yip I am not going to be much use once I get home tonight... Hope some servers are up in NZ but I am guessing they should be as the have had since the beta was shut down to set them up.

Are there any NZ servers? I can't find any, only aussie ones and they are always full lol

Theres a page on the ea site that lets you login using an old EA account, they changed the way it works and if you hadnt logged in for a year or so it went inactive but could be ressurected if you relogged in on that specific page (sorry at work cant find the link at the mo)

It has been widely knowen that there is no lan in this game as well as not being able to host your own server for others to join over the internet. There are dedicated servers but you have to be a hosting company to get the files.

I couldnt play last night, i would login fine but when i used the server browser it came up with failed to connect to EA, no matter what i did i couldnt get past this. Thank god i go on holiday for two weeks tomorrow, ill come back and hopefully all the server probs are sorted!
