Agreed. Power is only good if it is harnessed well.
I chose the original Xbox over the PS2 due to better specs on paper, and the latter firmly won that round. I then originally chose the PS3 over the 360 (although I now have both) due to the same reasons. While the PS3 finished strongly, I'd say that the 360 reigned supreme for most of this generation.
Whereas I look at it from the perspective, the PS3 is HANDS down the better device, if solely because it has an upgradeable Blu-Ray player.
