How long did you leave it before selling? I've been doing another mission or two and taking a sleep/save.
I only have about 30k on Franklin cause I pissed it away on high priced suits and diamond earrings lol
Trevor and Michael have about 500k in the bank though. Trying to get to a million before I make any big purchases.
The more you invest, the more you make.

I think the investment Lester refers too in the money laundering for the heists.
If you're broke and need easy money then do some driving around.
Whenever you see a purse snatcher go kill him and take the purse.
I've nabbed $5k a couple of times like that.
Keep an eye out for security vans as well. They also hold a reasonable amount.
There are also banks around the place that you can apparently break into.
Not too sure how you do it though. I tried walking out back to the safe and using a
sticky bomb but it did nothing.

I wouldn't call many of the things in this thread really spoilers. I'm not up to the Lester tobacco mission either, but it wouldn't matter because after doing the first Lester mission what I do is watch the cut-scene then reload my last saved game and make sure all three characters invest all their money into the competition before starting it again.

But since we're spoiling things now anyway, can I ask if it's worth Franklin buying the towing company? It's only $150,000 but Franklin is having trouble even getting that much. Also anybody own the $200 million golf course yet?

I've not had huge payback from any of the property I've purchased yet. I'm an idiot for not thinking of getting all the characters to invest though. That just makes sense....

I got franklin to purchase the bar in the town in the northwest of the island, it was pretty cheap: 80K or something.

Agreed I'm not going to be very pleased at all if I read any major plot spoilers either. I have to be a little honest I'm a bit concerned over the new title as I don't want someone new to this thread to come into it and blurt out the ending or anything. Unlikely I know but now that there are two threads somebody could assume that this one is dedicated for the people that have finished the story.
