turb:

I can't work out what that other game is either: Some dude in a motorcycle helmet with a submachine gun. I can't see his gang patch though...

I rang them up,  the other game is rainbox 6 blah blah blah, sorry cant remember what follows that since i rang from work and as soon as i get out the door the whole day is forgotten!

im going down when they open in the morning as both the warehouses i rang up said no to pre-orders or holds and they are only getting about 9 each (told to me from the entertainment departments of 2 different warehouses)

+ freight distance and distribution and economies of scale. USA population = 300 million, NZ population 4 million. Just look at their petrol price against ours.

Mine arrived this morning :)
Ghostbusters, Little Big Planet and unfortunately a spare HDMI cable....I say unfortunately because it's tempting me to keep my Xbox360 :S
Also have some Sony reps card included in the box....very strange
Oh well, only another 9 hours till I can go home and set it up

Has anyone else noticed the new controller has a matted finish to it? Although it has exactly the same part number as the smoother controller?

not that i'm complaining, i like the new feel

I pre-ordered mine from Noel Leeming for $598 including blu-ray remote. Went I went to collect they wouldn't match JB price of $529 so I retuned it immediately and went across the road to JB. Got the console + Assassins Creed + HDMI cable for $529. It was annoying how Noels would not match the price. Their excuse was the they only match the price if they have the same stock. As they didn't have a copy of Assassins Creed they could not match the price.

I wonder how many they have sold today at $598.

i got mine at 830 this morning, i must say its a little bland looking with the matte black finish but i dont mind it too much as i intend to decorate it somehow which i would never have done with my old monolithic looking ps3.

i got ghost recon2 with my purchase for 549$ which although its an older game its still a good one.

Im hoping the "dynamic themes" arent just for developers like the video i just watched said they were as
most of the best themes ive seen came from random searches on google and not the psn store.
