might upgrade my sticks after June...

In case (heh) anyone here is interested, I have an as-new JSAUX Mod Case basic kit to sell. $45 shipped which is about what it cost me.
Just got a Steam Deck and wanting to upgrade the SSD to a 2TB model. It seems the options in NZ are very limited (and insanely expensive!).
I started looking at AliExpress as the prices look reasonable, but I've never bought anything from it worth more than a few dollars so I'm naturally a bit nervous about diving in (specifically, https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005171361314.html )
Does anyone have any better options/recommendations?
Thanks!
I ordered a 1TB from this seller https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004901239395.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.43.26f618028RgSXz and haven't had any issues.
I got my 1TB from here, no issues.
They have a 2TB as well but not worth the increased cost imo.

Edit
I would recommend buying tools to open the steam deck if you don't have something similar, they definitely helped open it imo.
Thanks for the suggestions so far. Please keep them coming, I have a week and a bit before I'll be liquid enough to order anything :)
In terms of cost, I'm really just trying to match or reduce the cost of buying 2TB's worth of MicroSD cards and remove the inconvenience of storing/swapping them. Even the cheapest SD Cards (that are also good performers) would add up to between 400-600, so 2-300 for a 2TB SSD, which is much faster and removes the need to swap cards, seems like a good deal in that respect.
I have a small collection of SD Cards, which I've tested, the majority of which are too slow for smooth use i.e., downloading a new steam game results in regular pauses to the transfer to allow the SD card to catch up. So buying any significantly cheaper SD cards seems like a waste of cash.
Value has announced the Steam Deck OLED edition. Not for sale yet but could be something for Christmas.
Would anyone get an oled version, if you had an LCD one?

I won't be upgrading but it looks great. IMO the better battery life is more attractive for me than the better screen but I'm sure if I saw one live I'd get massive FOMO....
SpartanVXL: Valve is still not selling in aus/nz officially so we’ll have to wait on whatever stock can get brought in.
I will get one when sold officially.

Both MightyApe and JB Hifi sell Steam Decks in New Zealand with NZ warranty,
I think likely they will get the OLED imported but will be a bit more costly than importing yourself ofc.
SpartanVXL: OLED model is very nice, much better screen, improved power efficiency along with a bigger battery at the same price points. (Slight performance increase from the increased memory speeds)
Are you going off personal experience with the device? I am quite torn, I am trying to decide between the OLED Steam Deck (Should be available by Xmas in the US?) or the Rog Ally. I was really keen to rent a ROG Ally for a couple of weeks and see if I was going to get any use of it.

Just a geek/coder.

eong:
I have both Rog Ally and Steam Deck.
Rog ally has better performance but the problem is the battery, crazy fan and heat. You may use it for more hardware hungry games but it also means you need to connect the power cable most of the time. If you are mostly using it in a portable way, better to go Steam Deck.
To be honest, I've spoilt myself over the years, and have an Xbox Series X, PS5 Disc, a very decent PC, and a flagship phone. I love the idea of one of these two units, but am honestly feeling like buying one would be a waste given most of the time I'd have something with a bigger screen to game off. I think I'd love to find one to rent for a fortnight and see if that's true. I saw one place had rentals of the steam deck, but at this point I'd only consider the OLED version.
