Dial111:
I've only watched two trailers in the entire time this game was announced way back when, im not one to buy into hype trains and stay away from all media releases for games so this caught me off guard
Can you elaborate?
Yeah I think it'll be similar in Cyberpunk in terms of what hacks are relevant for what enemies, which requires scanning them and probably listening well to conversations before missions so you know what you're heading into and can do your loadout to suit. Personally I'm just doing all the side missions first as they come up, with a few main story missions in-between. I find this the best way to increase levels and attributes quickly in most games.
Yeah, I am not disputing they made a difference, just that 95% of the time or more, I wasn't really having any trouble dispatching enemies, usually battles last seconds.
PSA: Don't buy Cyberpunk 2077 if you're not on next gen or PC. This'll take their reputation a long time to recover from.

To be fair, it doesn't look THAT amazing on PS5, they haven't optimized for that yet right? It's not officially next-gen certified till next year?
Correct, PS5 is just the same as the PS4 and Xbox One versions right now. The next gen optimised version is a 2021 release. They have just made it so that if you bought it early on PS4 or PS5 you get an immediate upgrade to next gen for free when it's released.
So really the only platform that currently lives up to the hype is PC.
People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

No matter where you go, there you are.
Evidently a lot of the problem on old consoles is CPU limitations. Driving, for example, is very CPU demanding. Also a lot of texture pop-in and general crashyness. Digital Foundry did an excellent video yesterday going into all the detail on PS4 and Xbox base consoles. Bottom line is don't buy it unless you have a PS5 or Xbox Series, and even then it's the non-next gen version without ray tracing etc. PC is the only platform with the fully realised version, and then your mileage will vary depending on your spec.
Finally had time to set up (and troubleshoot) my Reverb G2 properly yesterday and played some Star Wars Squadrons last night. Holy moly, that's the right way to play that game! You're sitting in a life size X-Wing and Tie Fighter cockpit having space dogfights, it's unreal! Especially good on the G2 which is pin sharp clarity. So much fun!
LOL.... we still play "real" games.
Exploding Kittens, Ticket To Ride New York,
King of New York, Loot Letter, Roll For It etc.
Have Fallout as well but finding people keen to play with a decent amount of time, is hard ;)
After years of no games (except Tetris through an NES emulator and AOM), I started back into iRacing just after first lockdown. Like everything I do I kinda let it go a bit silly and ended up building my own sim chassis as well as my own loadcell based pedals from scratch.
I have triple monitors and a HP G2. The VR headset is great for shorter races but realistically for anything longer than 30 minute stints I am more comfortable with the monitors.

Heaps of fun and a hell of a lot cheaper than running my real car :-) - Even including a video card upgrade...
Cheers - N
