Playing around with RDR, not playing anything seriously at the moment until my employment situation is sorted :)

Are you playing in story mode, or on-line?

I've been deep into on-line for a while now, lots of new players coming on and attempting to kill anything that moves... I think they see the game as a massive COD map.

They all seem to have zero chill and to be slow learners re: not attacking crews of high levels!

I thought there were some controls put in place by Rockstar to limit that kind of behaviour?  Like, you had to enable a setting or something so that you opted into being in the wild west (so to speak) vs just playing in a reasonably safe sandbox?

Finished Ghost of Tsushima's main campaign the other night after clearing the entire map and all side quests. Super fun, stunningly beautiful game.

Sounds great. I have the disc sitting on the coffee table waiting to go into the PS5 once I finish AC Valhalla very soon.

Will finish ACV with very close to 100% completion. I play with OCD-ish clearing of every single treasure marker and other items from the maps, get all collectibles etc - but will draw the line at trying to catch all 25 species of fish and at trying to beat all 19 NPCs who want me to play a dice mini-game.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I’m now well into Ghost of Tsushima. I’m enjoying its overall style and the combat is well thought-out. Not a totally brilliant game but very enjoyable and beautifully realised. I’ve concentrated on the Tales (side quests) and clearing the map as I go - and for that reason it started getting a bit repetitive. However I’m sure it will broaden out as I get more into the main story line.

The main reason for this post is that the game sparked my interest in the real Tsushima Island. When reading about the island, I stumbled upon this story - thought I’d post it for those who who have played/are playing the game, in case they’re interested:

Spent some time in the weekend playing Feynx Rising - Immortals. I am really enjoying it a lot. It's puzzles are fun, combat can be a little one dimensional but it's keeping me tied in pretty well.

I see God of War is getting enhanced for PS5 version tomorrow!

@gehenna will be particularly pleased I suspect.

I really tried to like the campaign of Starwars Battlefront 2 but omg the load times are just rubbish.  The game isnt too bad (although I do wish Luke Skywalker would accidently fall over and land on his lightsaber).

Ive been enjoying a little bit of Metro - Last Light redux.  Its interesting in shorter bouts.

Received my Art and Making of Control book yesterday.  Nearly 400 pages of incredible detail and artwork.  Also 3 prints that I can frame to go alongside my Last of Us 2 print.  Excellent book, highly recommended.

Been a while since I last picked up physical goodies for games. Don’t have the space to collect even though I’d like to at some point. That book does look amazing though.

I need to have another go at Control. Apparently, the save games aren't migratable to the version that came free with PS5 Playstation Plus  recently, which is a bummer.

I found Control to be a bit variable, but let's see what another crack at it produces.
