afe66: So when will I be able to wander into a shop and pick a ps5 off shelf do we think?

Bypassedd the ps4 stage so will go from ps3 onto 5. But not desperately needing a ps5

March or April is what I'm hearing. Xbox have officially said series-x stock wont catch up until April so it wouldn't surprise me if Sony had a similar timeline for PS5 retail stock.

Won’t be until April/May next year by the sounds of things if you haven’t pre ordered.

You don't need to quote sometime to reply to them folks. Just reply. Quoting should be kept for if you're replying to something earlier in thread. If you want someone notified that you're replying just @ them in the post.

Quote responsibly. It's getting messy.

I'm just going to hide posts that don't quote responsibly when I see them going forward. Once again, you don't need to quote to reply, just reply. Quote if you want to refer to something that is many messages or pages in the past. @ someone if you want to reply to them directly.

No direct source but 2020 is completely sold out as well as the first 2021 order allocation. There’s still many people that haven’t even been able to preorder so I don’t see a time where you’ll see the ps5 sitting on shelves for purchase in store until a few months into next year.

This does seem a bit draconian mate... I don't know what the issue is with seeing quoted messages. You can only go 1 or 2 quotes deep anyway. 🤘

Anyone else with MightyApe just have their expected ship date change to this Friday (the same day stock is expected) instead of the 7th? Any ideas if changing to pick up now means we'll be able to pick up on the Friday?

Not quoting is in the terms and conditions?

There's no problem with quoting, over quoting is messy that's all, especially when it's only quoting the most recent messages. Yes it's in the FUG, yes it's part of my voluntary job to help that be adhered to in whatever it's current state is. If there's an issue with that, post it on the site suggestion forum and have at it.

"Posts will be removed and the user may be banned (either temporarily or permanently) if:

Can we just move on now and keep it tidy, that's all.

I am going to step in here and say you are breaking the "Don't be a dick rule" and taking this thread off topic.

Do you want to complain about quoting, open a new topic in the Geekzone sub-forum and I will reply there.

Hey guys, saw something on reddit today which confirmed that a couple of EB Games stores in Wellington had started fulfilling Post Launch (2020) orders as of yesterday which was confirmed by calling the Wellington Central store. Hopefully we’ll start seeing more stores around the country this week following suit!
