@danepak I think your needs may be met by Playstation Remote play.

https://www.playstation.com/en-nz/remote-play/

I havent tried it in the PS5 era, but I did try PS4 to the playstation TV box and it was horrid, looked like a bad twich stream and control was so laggy it was like the TV wasnt in game mode. Not sure if it will even work.

Also controller gets really spotty at distance. It will still "work" but have unpredictable latency.

Sending over a 60GHz wireless HDMI was faultless when we tried it at a friends place  - they had one to get to their TV in the middle of the room from the AV gear off to the side. No lag at all with it.

Thanks, do you know what the brand was of the wireless HDMI?

Thanks. As the other poster points out, it doesn’t say if I can play simultaneously on a 2nd TV.
I basically want to play a 2-player game but on two TV’s.

Are you talking about a split screen game, but just playing it on two separate tvs (i.e. you each see the same thing on both tvs, just on two different tvs in two different rooms?)

Yes, but so the screen isn’t split up, but each player have a full screen.
But as someone else wrote, you would need two Playstations for that.

How are people getting along with their M.2 SSDs? If you buy one with a heatsink included, it's a simple case of opening up the correct section and inserting, then securing with a screw, isn't it?

Anyone had any issues?

In theory yes. I bought one that required a third party cooling solution as per above. It wasn't super easy to attach, but once attached, the rest of the solution was pretty straight forward. No issues post installation, but I haven't installed anything on it yet :)

I see dual charge stations ranging from $55 down to $20.
Are they all equally good?

I bought the PlayStation branded ones, wasn't worth the risk for the saving of $30 over 2 controllers.

For my Xbox I bought the highest-rated third-party one as there isn't an MS alternative that did what I wanted.

OK, so with the cheaper third party ones, you risk breaking the controllers.

Well, they should be licensed and therefore provide the correct current to the controllers, so I guess the risk isn't that high, but the PS ones matched the looks, and I guess, I felt there wasn't a huge price difference for the piece of mind of being able to put it all on Sony IF something went wrong.

Same here, I have the Sony one and it works well.

Unrelated but the first party MS series X batteries are rubbish. Ours didn't even last 6 months and then it stopped charging altogether.

I’ve just signed up for PS Plus on my PS5.
Looks like great value.

Can someone please confirm if this is correct?

If I download a game which is released in October, I can delete it and get access to it again, at some stage in the future if I wish (as long as I’m a PS Plus subscriber)?
If I don’t download one of the October games, they’ll be lost forever?

If point 1 is the case, you might as well download the game, even if you don’t like it, as you can retrieve it at any stage in the future and in the meantime it doesn’t take up any storage.

Correct, you have access as long as you have a paid account.

Thanks, but I can’t get games from earlier (for example September, can I), if I only start the subscription in October?
