Mine should be on its way soon enough, is anyone else interested to see what the little box is capable of?

Admittedly mine will probably/hopefully be used as a Plex/XBMC fornt end more than a game system but that's OK.

What are people going to be using their for?

Ordered mine via kickstarter to be used as an 1080P XBMC solution. Should be shipping today for a lot of buyers.

Yerp, secured an "Early Bird" console, so hopefully mine will be shipping sooner rather than later.
Apparently I was within one of the first 250 people to back the project on KickStarter, so I'm hoping for preferential treatment. :P

I emailed them to confirm my shipping address as I had moved house, and they said they would start shipping them out this week, but also noted that it might take a "few weeks to ship all consoles".
They said that you should receive an email with confirmation once yours has shipped.

The OUYA launch event is happening today (Friday 29th) at 4pm NZ time.
Not sure if there will be a live stream anywhere?

OUYA ships early backer consoles, staggers delivery over the weeks ahead.

No email confirmation for me... yet.

Yeah, no email for me neither. It will come and then i'll just keep waiting as no doubt international shipping will take some time.

I was Kickstarter backer number 205.

Disrespective, what number were you? (The number should be in an email from 'Team OUYA' with subject "Confirm you are [Your OUYA Username]".)

We might be able to figure out if they are shipping in order of backer number.

Whoa!! I didn't realise I was that much of an "Early Bird".
In that case, I would expect mine to ship very soon. Well, let's hope so anyway.

Yeah, whilst I never saw the campaign early enough to be as early as you I ummed and ahhhed for a while before biting the bullet and purchasing it in the last week. It meant I was able to order the brown finish Ouya though.

OUYAForum.com member, "code" has posted that he contacted OUYA's support asking if he could pick up his console directly from the company, upon its release.

"We will begin shipping this week from a remote location, so we cannot have you pick up your OUYA," explained the OUYA representative. "It will be shipped this week, and though it'll take a few weeks to ship all consoles, you will receive an email confirmation with (your) tracking number once yours is on its way."

So, it looks like they probably won't be shipping from the US. I saw a rumour somewhere that they may be shipping from Hong Kong (can't remember where, sorry), so that may mean NZ based backers could actually get their OUYA before the US backers.

And here I am having sold my 3D printer just the other week... For the time being in any case, I'm going to enjoy looking at it the way it was designed... once it arrives...
