We are wanting to run a PS2 thru a computer monitor with VGA and DVI inputs. Could it be possible to run the console thru a computer and then to monitor. Any help would be appreciated. The converters from Dick Smith are real expensive.

You can either get a self contained converted that does it for you, which is pricey, or you can purchase a capture card with the right inputs and run it through your PC.

The PS2 can output VGA so you'll just need a VGA cable for it. Alternatively it might be easier to find a component cable plus a component to VGA adapter (which will also give you separate RCA connectors for sound).

Trade Me links are just examples.
