I am trying to connect a vfx viop direct to a softphone app on iphone, I have run Bria & 3CX with 2talk over 3g not a problem and have now just signed up and ported a number to vfx open service.
I have spent hours reading posts on softphones with vfx & getting mixed ideas...

I have no luck getting Bria or 3cx to connect to vfc. Has anyone had any luck with this or any other apps??

I understand there is no support with vfx on an open service, are there settings that are requierd that these apps i have do not support???

Any help would be appreciated!

No idea about the 3CX softphone but I've heard Bria works fine. You should only need the SIP proxy, User ID, AuthID and password.

follow what I have in the above example just change the user name which will be your Phone number 9xxx xxxx , authid and pass will be what was supplied, set domain as pan.wxnz.net and set register domain not proxy and see how you go.

Your device is registered , otherwise you would not receive calls so not a problem with the ports I would say, a bit unusual not to be able to dial out with Bria once registered ..... Do you get any other symptoms , RvA,s , errors messages etc ?

Can anyone with VFX do this or are there some settings on the VFX side that need to be changed first?

you have to have an open Vfx account to do this, if you have a VFX certified device then the account is locked to the devices mac address.

Pretty simple to get an open VFX account and you will get all the details sent tto yoi in an email, users names , basic settings and passwords etc, up to you to set up your preferred device then, one device per account though as you can not run the same account on 2 devices at the same time as they will knock each other off the air.
