I am having trouble trying to ActiveSync iPaq 4150 with my Sony Z1 + Bluespace NE like everybody else in the world.

I have not found anybody who has resolved this problem, so I wondered if since everybody says the problem is with the blues space software, is it possible to use a different Bluetooth management software instead?

if so, what software is recommended and how do I know if it will work with my hardware?

I've failed with this but you can get hacked widcomm 1.4 software from www.jonscaife.com and have a try for yourself. If you manage to get rid of bluespace let the world know

Have you guys looked at this thread? The posts around these days (Feb 2004) report success installing other software.

Please don't post instructions on this forum on how to do that for copyright reasons, if needed discuss via PM.

Unfortuinatly this is not the question or the answer
- this is using another BT device not the built in one

Do you want to use the built-in one with another software then, not to add another device and software combos, right?

Yep, the thread refers to using a third-party hardware and software to replace the [missing or faulty or inadequate] functionality provided by Sony.
