Hey there :)

We just recently upgraded from ADSL to VDSL at work. We run two networks - one for general staff, the other for production.

Spark sent a new modem, which is now set up and working perfectly for general staff use.

I also have a Cisco modem (capable of PPoE) I'm using for the production team, but it doesn't put out an internet connection - annoying. I've tried lots of possible combinations for settings but can't get it to work!!

Any ideas of what settings I need to use to get it to work?

Vlan 10 on the wan side?

And make sure the service name is blank

You will need a router than can tag traffic on the wan interface with VLAN 10. Not all routers will have this function. Where you put the PPPoE username and password if there is a service name field make sure it is left blank

Post your running config, how can we guess what you've done wrong.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

It isn't possible to read from the capture. We thought you had a real Cisco rather than a Linksys. If no vlan tagging capability your out of luck. Given you didn't even provide the model number not even possible to determine if has VDSL2 interface.

Zooming in a lot, it seems the radio boxes are (*) PVC ( ) ADSL ( ) <something>, are you sure that is a VDSL2+ compatible modem?

That's what I was thinking too, hence why knowing the model number would help.
