Hi There,

I am looking for buy a router either the Dlink DIR-890L or the Asus RT AC87U or RT-AC3200.

Can anyone confirm which ones work on Fibre and can I completely replace the Huawei modem that Vodafone gave me.

COuld someone help me in regards to set up and how I could do this?

Just need to find out if the modems work in the first place?

What requirements do you have in a router that the device supplied by Vodafone doesn't support?

The coverage is terrible and its freezing from time to time....Huawei HG659..

Swapping routers won't necessarily improve WiFi performance.

Yes that's not a great device for WiFi performance, and WiFi performance can vary a lot between routers, but the real world reality if you have a big house is that relying on a single AP/router for WiFi is not more often than now a poor solution due to the massive congestion in the 2.4GHz band.

Nope go into the Wifi settings on the router and fix it to a WiFi channel like 6 or 11
