Hello,
I'm a "novice" to computers. I just bought a Logitech MX900 Wireless Bluetooth mouse with a hub. The hub works as a "transmitter", so I decided to investigate the possibilities of going Bluetooth Wireless.
I would like to convert 2 of my printers 1 a USB and the other an older parallel.
Iogear makes a nice adapter for both (obviously I would have to buy 2 of the receivers).
Now here is what I need to know in VERY SIMPLE AND EASILY UNDERSTOOD TERMINOLOGY!
1. What is a Widcomm Stack
2. If I have 3 different items and Windows XP software,
a. Logitech Wireless MX900 Bluetooth Mouse/Hub
b. An Iogear Parallel to Bluetooth or a USB to Bluetooth adapter
c. An Epson USB 1.1 inkjet printer and an HP 2100 Laserjet Parallel Printer
d. A PC with with Windows XP and Service 2 pack already downloaded
Then where do I start with the software and which ones do I use?
I already sent e-mails out to all 4 above, and of course I'm getting the typical "runaround" which is to go to the other company. An example is having Espon tell you to go to Iogear who tells you to go to Epson who tells you to go to Windows who tells you to go ......well you get the message!!!!!!!!!!!
Please help before I go out and buy these adapters and then go nuts trying to figure out what to do.
Thanks and have a great day,
